Sierra is Four

Wow! Although it seems as though she was just born, today Sierra turned four years old!!! She seemed reluctant to admit this, and so when people asked her today if she was four, she responded, "Not yet!" Finally this afternoon around 5pm when asked, she said, "NOW I am!"

Sierra asked for rice and noodles for her birthday dinner, so we went to our favorite Thai restaurant. After the meal her fortune cookie read, "You will make a name for yourself in entertainment." This has already occurred within our home, so we'll see if it is also true in a global sense. :-) Daddy's and Evi's fortunes (both of them!) predicted that exactly 3 months from today would be a lucky day. Mark your calendars for April 7, folks!

Sierra enjoyed the gifts that she got, but her favorite part of the day seemed to be that everyone was calling her to sing Happy Birthday over the phone. Her little face would just light up every time--definitely made her feel like a special tyke.

Tech queen

Sierra is obsessed with Jonathan's iPhone and plays with it at every possible moment. She has learned the beauty of passing time away on the airplane playing with it... watching movies, using the drawing tool, looking a pictures, listening to music, etc., etc. Since we've flown quite a few times lately, she knows to listen for the announcement that electronic devices can be turned on. On our flight yesterday when she heard the announcement, she looked over brightly and said, "Can I have your phone now? He just said we can turn on the chronic vices."
