SIT DOWN!!!!

Sierra is currently obsessed with the idea of sitting down, whether that be because she IS sitting down, or someone else is sitting down, or perhaps because she's NOT sitting down when she should be, or she thinks someone else should sit down. Anyway, it's a big and frequent topic of discussion. She will often crawl up onto a chair and stand up, which is not approved protocol, and she'll shout (to herself?) Sit Down! Not that she actually does it, then.....

The other day we were in our favorite little cafe, and there is a bar that runs around part of the room that has high stools up to it. There is free wireless in this cafe, so most of the time there are people sitting along that bar working on their laptops. A customer came in while we were eating and was standing behind a stool setting up their computer, presumable not settling in yet because they hadn't yet ordered anything. Sierra was clearly a bit disturbed by the fact that they just kept standing there, so out of the blue she shouts at top volume, "SIT DOWN!!!" I very sheepishly turned around to see what the reaction was of the person, but they apparently didn't realize that she was talking to them! Or maybe they were just being gracious.... who knows!
