Evelyn's name

A few weeks ago we finally made a firm decision on baby Evelyn's name--up to that point we had been narrowing down the choices but had not fully decided on which one to go with. We were sitting in a restaurant waiting for our food to arrive when we came to our decision, and within a couple of minutes, another couple with a baby came to sit at the next table..... and their baby's name was Evelyn!!! It was really wild! Anyway, we hadn't said too much to Sierra about Evelyn's name because we didn't want her to give it away to anyone, but this was the perfect opportunity to see how she could pronounce it, so we were having her say hello to the other baby. As it turns out, when she tried to say "Evelyn" it came out sounding like "M&M" which sounded to us like the cutest nickname ever, so that settled it for sure. In reality, we are calling Evelyn "Evi" for short and Sierra can say that perfectly, so the M&M thing may or may not make it into posterity other than in this blog. We'll see....
