I'm pooped!
Sierra was playing "running" this morning.... as in, putting on the gear that Daddy puts on when he goes out in the cold for a run. After she had been tearing around for awhile with his gloves, hat and face mask for awhile she announced with a huff, "Whoa! I'm all poopy!" This is not her usual lingo for describing that condition, but I followed up with the obvious questioning.
Did you poop?
No.
Do you need to poop? Do you want to sit on the potty? (We're in the "pull-up phase" so it could go either way...)
No. I'm just tired and I need a shower.
Then it dawned on me that Jonathan often says when he returns from a run, that he is all pooped. I laughed so hard realizing what she must be thinking every time he says that! We then proceeded to teach her to say, "I'm plum tuckered out!," which incidentally sounds really funny coming from a 3-yr-old!
