Steeler Six-pack!

The Steelers just won the Superbowl which makes them the only team to ever win the Superbowl six times. The town is ecstatic and even though we live far from where the real street celebrations are going on, there are people marching down our street with balloons and shouting, and everyone driving by is honking and screaming. We call it HAPPY TOWN whenever the Steelers win anything.

Sierra and Evi both wore black and gold to the party where we watched the game. Sierra's only yellow (whoops--I mean "gold")shirt is a turtle neck which is quite tight to get on over her head and she hates taking it on and off. I suggested to her that if the Steelers won that she might want to wear her outfit again tomorrow to school if it didn't get dirty. She let me know in no uncertain terms that there was no way she was going to take OFF that turtleneck and then put it ON again tomorrow (!!!!!) So I assured her that if the Steelers won, she could just wear the shirt to bed and keep it on tomorrow when she got up. Just proving that we have truly assimilated into the Pittsburgh culture which mandates that all normal life goes out the window when there is a major Steelers victory--the Pgh public schools already put in place a 2 hr delay tomorrow morning because of the Superbowl. I'm not sure that there is anywhere else in the country that would do this. But this is da 'Burgh, folks!
