Evi's dramatic themes

Evi talks incessantly about two topics (and others of course, but these have become rather prominent life themes over the last couple of months).

1) She gets very excited when she sees a bird, and is inconsolable when it flies away. "The birdie pue way!! Nudder one?" (The birdie flew away! Another one?)

2) Near Grandma and Grandpa's house there is a construction site with a big shovel that she has watched on several occasions. Any time she hears any loud noise of any kind, she asks if it is a "steam shovel working". She also calls any construction equipment that she sees a steam shovel(a lawn mower, a wood chipper, a bulldozer... basically anything... they're all steam shovels to her!)
