Family quartet in the making

Evelyn started violin lessons on May 19 and is now already working on her very first piece, "GDG". It's really the cutest thing you ever saw.... the tiny violin (she's on a 32nd size), her tiny little self doing her 7-7 bow, the whole bit. I'm in charge of Ev's practicing and lessons since Jonathan pretty much owns the cello practice with Sierra.

We also discovered that the sweet time for practicing is right after breakfast. We were going to implement this in the summer, but it worked so well when we tried it on the weekend a couple weeks ago that we decided we had to start it even before school got out. We get up a few minutes earlier and just get it all done first thing before taking Sierra to school. Can't even believe how well it's going.... and that we are actually able to pull it off!
