Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....

We've just had what the people around here are calling the "Storm of the Decade," but which in fact is the fourth worst winter storm in recorded Pittsburgh history. We got 21" of snow and are expecting 3 more inches on Tuesday for an even 2 ft. We've been holed up in our house for days now and we finally spent 3 hours today shoveling out our driveway. Near the street where they've plowed, the snow is about up to my shoulders, so cutting into that to make a path to our driveway was interesting, to say the least. Jonathan and I are aching and sore from our shoveling endeavors. In addition to the practical work of cutting paths to and from our house, Jonathan also made not one, but two snow caves in our front yard. The girls have had a blast playing in them and making a snow princess(complete with tiara). Our whole yard looks like a snow fairyland!
