Feeding the fish

Tonight I was in Evi's room feeding her and putting her down and Sierra had been in the office or playroom doing her thing. Things got a bit too quiet, so I called to her to see what she was up to. She came around the corner with the bottle of fish food in her hand. The night before I had been with her when she went in to feed the fish (this is usually Jonathan's domain) and she seemed to do it exactly right, taking a little pinch and scattering it into the tank. Tonight, though, when I asked her whether she had been feeding the fish, she nodded and announced, "Yes, I feed lots!" Just then Jonathan was coming up the stairs, so I informed him of her comment. Apparently she had upended the entire bottle of fish food into the tank. Luckily he has a special vacuum that he is using to suck up most of the excess food, but I guess we'll see what the fish body count is over the next couple of days.
